Actually, I didn't expect too much from CEFALY® at the beginning. It was simply another attempt to make my migraine life a little easier after all conventional methods failed or risk and success were out of proportion. With CEFALY® my attitude was: "it doesn't help, it doesn't hurt". In addition, the financial risk was relatively low, as you can return the device if you don't like it and get back most of the purchase price. That made my decision easier. Last but not least, I found the size of the device practical. I always take it with me, for example, when I go away for the weekend. Initially I found the intensity of the treatment somewhat unpleasant, but soon I got used to it. If I have a migraine attack and the pain is not yet too severe, I use the device. It feels like the pain is being distracted. It can happen that I append two or three more after a cycle, because as long as the "buzzing" on the forehead and on the head continues, the pain remains in the background or disappears completely. Usually, however, I use this part as a preventive measure. The result: After I had reached a point before my experiment with CEFALY® where I had to take my migraine tablets every day to get through the day, I was able to significantly reduce the days when I needed medication soon after starting treatment with CEFALY®. I still have migraines, but not as often. That may not sound like much, but it makes a huge difference to me. So it is clear that I will keep my CEFALY® and continue to use it diligently.
